A glimpse to what she’ll look like with geeky glasses

Both Nathan and I had years of our childhood that we both wore HORRIBLE glasses. Large plastic frames, way too big for our faces. And particularly me wore big colored glasses in shades pink, blue and green as if I was trying to be like Sally Jesse Raphael and her huge red glasses. Remember? Ugh. Those memories will be not be published on this blog.
But when Elizabeth came around the corner yesterday at the farm to show me she had found Mama Jane’s new pack of reading glasses, it was a flash to what she may look like in 5th grade if she is anything like her parents!
Bedazzling girl with an inherited geeky glasses streak in her.

I just can’t understand why you wouldn’t want to post a picture of you and your lovely huge glasses. You were styling back in the day.

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
