Anika’s baptism, first edition

Today we celebrated Anika’s baptism. It was a day full of joy for our family. I felt a sense of peace and completeness I have never experienced before until today. Nathan agreed. We could not have asked for a better day in our church with our family alongside us. It was a day only God could perfectly orchestrate. The pictures speak volumes and I am full of emotion just looking at them. I will not detail each photo but will add a second edition of photos tomorrow. We had a such a busy and fun filled weekend I will be blogging for days to catch up with it. But today it was Anika’s baptism and the entire day around it that humbled me and made me grateful for all God has done in our lives. We are blessed.

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
