SHE SCORES!

Pinke for two!
Hunter just called me after day three at his basketball camp he is attending this week while visiting his family in Washington. He is a very excited basketball playing boy. School begins in just two weeks and so will his last season of elementary school basketball.
We miss Hunter terribly around here and are anxious to see him soon. But until then, he needs to see pictures of his sisters. As you can see, one sister has been practicing her basketball skills so she can play with Hunter when he is home. Grandpa Eldon helped Miss E with shooting skills the other day. Elissa and her daddy picked out her first basketball hoop and brought home. I admit, the Odyssey is handy for hauling home basketball hoops.
And the other sister is growing and sleeping, rocking with Nana Carol. Sweet Anika is awake more often now in the afternoons, content and cool as a cucumber. She is a gem.

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
