Grandpa Eldon, Grandma Carol, Elizabeth Carolyn Jane and Hunter James just before Grandma’s birthday gift opening
Miss E’s latest…praying. She tells us to pray by announcing “Hunta PAY, Dada PAY, Mama PAY, Nana PAY, Boppa PAY!” In order to pray, she must see your hands folded. Otherwise she will keep after you until you PAY. And when we are done praying she says “Ahhmen”. Rather than cake, we had fresh and warm from scratch brownie sundaes (the ice cream was not hand cranked though…it came from the Schwan’s man) with warm, homemade chocolate sauce (I made a quick call to my mom to make sure I could pull off her recipe with out the recipe…and it worked) and fresh strawberries. Hunter had to bolt to his hunter’s safety course and missed out on his sundae and is taking a rain check for tomorrow night. But Miss E helped Grandma Carol blow out her candles. Elizabeth was satisfied mowing down strawberries while we ate brownie sundaes. Although she would not and will not drink milk while we drink raspberry lemonade! She called it “bop”. While she has never had pop (aka soda or Coke for you in other parts of the country and world) she obviously knows what it is.
After our birthday celebration, we spent time at the park. Even me the pregnant mama went down the slide with Elizabeth in my lap. Fun times.

Looks so yummy!! I just love when kids learn to pray, it is so precious!! Did you write it down in a book?
