A common birthday theme has started…Elissa loves to get in the boxes after the presents are out of them.

A card that sings! Elissa danced to it several times.

Now onto a few favorites of Eldon over the past couple years…
My favorite attribute about my father in law is his relationship with my husband. They are the closest father/son relationship I have ever known. A unique bond and friendship.

Shortly after we moved and Nathan fulfilled a dream, working alongside his father in their longtime family business

A happy wedding celebration
The wind is howling outside. We have had flooding, rain, snow and ice all in 24 hours. But a family birthday celebration complete with steak dinner and homemade birthday cake makes it all seem better.

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
