As much I was trying to grow out Elissa’s bangs, she advised against it by pulling out the multiple rubber bands, hair clips, etc. that I put in her hair each morning. She pulls them out with her hair still attached. I was afraid she would end up with a bald spot from the constant pulling. On Wednesday after school we headed to our local salon for hair cuts. Elizabeth had been sleeping at Gma’s house and still was groggy. I highly recommend a sleepy toddler for first hair cuts.
Elissa’s friend, Javen’s mommy Missy was her “stylist”. She got to wear Javen’s car “bib” (as Elissa called it) but then Missy saw me pull out my camera and said “oh maybe we should get the pink one on her”. I said not to worry and to just hurry up and trim while she was sitting so well. Not an usual occurrence for our very busy and on-the-go girl. This is Hunter after he said “MOM! NO!” and now on this picture was trying his best to not smile and look annoyed. His face is swollen and he did not want pictures taken of his hair cut. Regardless, he is a cute boy. His pain is much better around his injured teeth and he has been eating a lot of yogurt and Jello Jigglers!
