Huso siblings (-Uncle Dave) singing Go Tell It On The Mountain at my parent’s house on Christmas Eve.

Logan and Hunter heading up our annual Christmas Eve family program. We could tell Hunter wrote it. He was the featured act many times.

Wyatt turned 14 on the 14th. Plus there is a candle for Elizabeth and another candle for Grandma Nola. All of the family December birthdays.

Nathan’s parents came with him yesterday to the farm and joined us for our Christmas celebration.

An old Norweigian family tradition for us…lutefisk. It’s a tradition but not yummy.

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
