Front door

Drum roll…Tonight we said “good bye” to the dummy “traveling” door that has seen twenty plus years of house building at Pinke Lumber Company and has been our front door since the frame went up last December. The traveling door is onto a new job. And most exciting is we have our new front door installed! It’s just what we wanted–inviting and welcoming.

Beautiful! Can’t wait to come see it. Now that I will have all of Thanksgiving week off (still sad about that fact) I will have to come down for Thanksgiving early. Sound ok?

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
