Celebrating our wedding day

Filed Under: Family Values Tagged With: family, love story, marriage 6 Comments

Today is our wedding anniversary. I will try to not get too sentimental.
One word comes to mind…blessed. Taken a couple weeks ago in Grand Forks before attending the UND Sioux-per Gala
Honeymoon smiles

Longer hair, blonder, tanner and I was thinner but Nathan is thinner now. I guess that is what marriage does to a man. Hmm…or maybe it is selling a couple homes, moving a few times, building a home (and finishing it), having a baby and a major life style and career change–all in the first two years of our marriage. Despite the upheaval, Nathan and I have a remarkable marriage, true friendship and love our life.

Now to remember October 28, 2006

Thank you to each of you who were a part of our wedding day two years ago. Lifelong friends and family. We love and miss not seeing many of you more often. Please come visit any time.
And now we have new friends that we could have never known two years ago would be in our life. You make our life even more full and richer.
Blessed.

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
