Busy play time

Filed Under: Motivated Moms Tagged With: happy baby, kids, motherhood 3 Comments

Play time with Elissa Ladybug bottom…I feel pretty sassy in this out fit. Thanks Auntie Lori for shopping for me. Someday we can shop together.
And yes I stand and hold on tight. The theory is I may walk before I crawl. For my buddy Rody…thanks for sending me my very own Georgia Bulldogs t-shirt and a couple onesies. Now I have my own shirts instead of wearing my brother’s “vintage” Georgia attire.
Look Grandpa Sonny and Great Uncle Jim…one of my favorite toys is a Hereford cow. Yes it has horns on it. I know you prefer Polled Herefords. But clearly I inherited the “cattle” gene. I’ll be showing cows at the Tri-County fair in a few years. And maybe since you never could convince my mommy to be a cattle queen I will be your girl to win a crown!
I don’t stay on my play mat for very long anymore because I roll and scoot myself off of it but I am quite proud at how big I am when I sit on it. I even know how to tip it over. I am always looking for a new challenge. Crawling just isn’t enough of a challenge for me. If I sit and shout, I get what I want with out having to deal with this crawling business. I just need my auntie K and brother to teach me how to run! Now that looks fun.

Soon you will long for the days Elissa stayed in one spot, so enjoy it now because the chasing and running after her will be here shortly.

oh I could just squeeze her in that lady bug outfit…so cute! and I am so glad her UGA tshirt fits…but I know it won’t for much longer. She is just adorable and Hunter is turning into a handsome young man–hopefully we will see each other soon!

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
