Junior State Wrestling Champions

Sister and Brother

After a hiatus, the Pinke Post is back. This afternoon Hunter and I uploaded photos and video from his camera. It is always interesting what you find on a ten year old’s camera. Auntie Lori gave it to him for Christmas and he is always snapping photos. Yesterday I used his camera at the Junior State Championship wrestling duals. It was an exciting day and the highlight was the South Border Mustangs winning the championship! Somehow I didn’t get SOUND on the videos but we are still learning this technology! And the match I did video, Hunter ended up losing so he is not keen on me putting it on the internet for all to see. Below is video of the introductions of the championship and the other video is my favorite candid moment of the day. Hunter was shaking hands with our pastor and he turned around, took off his medal and put it on Elissa. It was so sweet and a memory I will always cherish. What a good brother. And watch how Elissa looks up at Hunter with such admiration.

Awwww…I love how she kicks her little feet. You’re right! It’s clear she adores him! How sweet!

Tell Hunter that I think he has the potential of being the next Brock Lesnar if he sticks with wrestling.

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
