Hangin’ out in the swing this morning

Playing this afternoon

Happy March! Tomorrow Elissa will be twelve weeks old. Time flies. She is a joy to our entire family and is developing such a sweet personality. And one of her major milestones this past week has been longer sleeps at night. Last night it was six hours, a short feeding and then three more hours of sleep! Hooray. Today Hunter is at a “winter fun day” which is a play on words because it is 50 degrees here and we will have little snow by day’s end. He was hoping to play football and soccer in replacement of the originally planned sledding.

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
