Here is a look inside the cabin. It’s a warm, inviting cozy space. You can be hidden and secluded on the prairie here or host huge family gatherings here. It’s an ideal space for getaways or gatherings! My husband loves to camp and I love to “glamp” as in glamorous camping. This cabin is a perfect “glamping” cabin as it has everything you need and is located in the heart of fishing and hunting areas of North Dakota. The cabin has a queen Murphy bed with a good quality mattress. There is space for air mattresses for guests, a sleeper sofa and you could add bunk beds if you’d like. The kitchen is modern and has everything you need to cook family meals, including glamping necessities: a refrigerator, freezer, electric range/oven, microwave, dishwasher and garbage disposal.
The knotty alder cabinets have deep storage and are great quality with soft close drawers.
Another necessity is good quality water! The cabin has a well with tested and safe drinking water and a big water heater for all showers.
The bathroom has another important purpose that you cannot see from the pictures. It’s built of concrete walls and serves as storm shelter on the prairie. If there is ever a tornado coming for Green Lake, North Dakota, you’re safe in this cabin shelter on the prairie. There is storage with hooks, drawers and a closet. The stone panels on the accent wall add texture and color. The indoor furniture and wall hangings are included. The counter also serves a great buffet for entertaining.
The knotty pine ceilings with their height and the log walls make the space unique. The red fireplace is perfect in the cabin’s corner. It provides cozy fires and is a great gathering area in the cabin. The outdoor fire pit and furniture shown is also included along with a dog kennel. The playset is a labor of love we’re including with the property and hope many more children enjoy it for years to come. There is an easement on this land where the property has direct Green Lake access. Green Lake is 978 acres in south-central North Dakota. You can see our dock in the distance. It’s not included in the price but we can work out a deal if you would like it. The lake is great for boating, recreation, and fishing. The most important thing about this property is the land. You have plenty of wide, open spaces on the North Dakota prairie. You can enjoy family time, hunting, boating, fishing or simple, quiet time away. You can sit and watch many sunrises with a cup of coffee or by campfires with a sunset, cooking walleye you caught in Green Lake!
It is set up to host four campers/ RV’s around the cabin area and is an ideal family gathering location.
The land includes a pond our first yellow lab Charlie loved. We call it Lake Charlie. There are birds you can hunt right outside your cabin on Lake Charlie. The land has plenty of space for a permanent home or larger lake cabin on it in the future. If you’re interested in viewing the property, contact Nathan by email: npinkelumber@bektel.com to set up a time to see it. We hope a family, couple or individual makes this cabin and property on the North Dakota prairie their weekend getaway or permanent home and loves it as much as we have.
