Every mom has their own potty training stories from the torment they experienced potty training toddlers, some much worse than others.
But our third child might not give me any trouble at all.
You see…we have discovered the secret to early potty training.
Maybe you already knew this secret. But we did not. Until this past weekend…
when we discovered the secret to early potty training is…
sibling potty training!
Indeed at our house, the older sister has decided it is time for the younger sister to learn to go potty on the big toilet.
Miss Elizabeth tells Miss Anika what to do. Miss A is quiet and takes instructions quite well from her older, more bossy vocal sister.
Miss E turns on the water and says “that helps you go potty, Anika…now go”.
Then she slightly closes the door and says “I’ll wait here until you are done.”
With all the instruction and praise, Anika has caught right on and loves going “pawy”.
She gets pats on the back and many sayings repeated to her like “Good job, Anika!” from her older sister.
She loves the experience so much now that she runs to the toilet now saying “pawy” and goes with out fail.
Yes, the secret to early potty training is clearly sibling potty training. Moms need to stay out of it…quit asking for too much advice, reading too many “how to” books and just take pictures to document sibling potty training. It even allows you to have time to blog about it while the girls enjoy one another’s company in the bathroom.
Maybe Miss E has a future business opportunity? Let me know if you need her at your house. She charges an affordable hourly rate and is willing to travel.
Oh my God, this is toooooo funny. You are lucky to have such a helper. I love it.
Hilarious! Is she booked during January? We could REALLY use her at our house!!
Ha too cute! We need Miss E’s services at our house. Our Miss E is simply not having it. This momma has decided she will have to potty train herself.
I’m not so sure this would work with my son. His aim is a bit off:)
awesome!! And sooo cute too! 🙂
I totally think you are on to something! Santa is working at our house…knock on wood 🙂
